The concept behind Daniela Ferro’s Gael Collection 2020 came up with an observation of rustic and day to day rural elements. Ferro tried to pass this vision in an abstract way to the pieces. The combination between metal and wood, present in the furniture, allows the emphasis in the low-high minimalist style, with an aesthetic and symbolic precision.
The slatted wood, an inherent characteristic of outdoors furniture, has a new interpretation through Ferro’s eyes, and thus the module cushion in Gael is born. Including couches, modular tables and a chaise-longue, the pieces have different tones inspired by the poetry of outdoor living.
In this set collection, the pieces are lightly round with wood in different sizes, forming an unusual, rhythmic and conceptual design. The metal feet positioned in those angles, give the piece certain lightness.
The chosen color scheme, mixing bright red and dark tones of wood, mark the effervescence of summer, giving the space a cozy and an inviting air. The key to adapt the seats to the outdoor ambient its creativity.
Uniting art, comfort and aesthetic, the Gael collection, exalts space, just like the outdoors living essence. The cushioned is a poetic inspiration, perfect from life outside, it is a special invitation to share moments.
