The proliferation of tall buildings in the metropolises bring with them the predominance of neutral colors and the aesthetic solidity of concrete. The exaggeratedly urban style reflects and strongly influences the experience of a city, as demonstrated by a study by the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital das Clínicas of USP: São Paulo Megacity.
In the face of the expansion of gray in our lives and homes, Igor Josifovic and Judith de Graaff – passionate about plants and design – have launched one of the most innovative trends of recent years with urban jungles. At first unpretentious, their passion for green took everyone's hearts and, currently, they command Urban Jungle Bloggers: totally focused on the principles of the movement.
De Graaff and Josifovic always make a point of remembering that, in addition to being visually pleasurable, the presence of nature in public and private spaces is essential for a better quality of life, with more physical and psychic health.
DonaFlor also believes that urban jungles make a difference in how we live and see what surrounds us. And the colors of nature can transform your home into a true refuge from the current monochrome pallor of cities.
For a green revolution, DonaFlor presents perfect pieces for you to design your own urban jungle.
